I'm thinking about getting my mom a Digital Picture Frame.

Tickets for Wicked at the Aronoff go on sale tomorrow. If your mom is into broadway shows, this would be a great gift. I haven't seen the show yet, but everyone I know that has seen it said it was GREAT!!

Every year we make my mother a homemade calendar for the next year that includes downloaded photos of the children/grandchildren, as well as smaller mugs of people inlaid over their apprpriate birthdays. So October would have a collage of photos of the grandkids in their Halloween costumes, July a picture of the grandchildren on vacation, etc. etc. Seems to make her very happy.

Wicked is AWESOME.. I saw it in Chicago with a couple of buddies, for free..

As a mom that loves pictures, this is a wonderful idea. Another idea for Mom could be a scrapbook - if she scrapbooks there are lots of items for this and I love to scrapbook all those football pictures.

Since we just brought our son home from Guatemala, we went and got pictures taken and we are framing a family picture and one of the little man as our parents' gifts.

I gotta find something good.. Her paying my car insurance for the next 6 months rides on this, and I love her.. Ha ha

If you can afford it, this is a great idea. An added bonus would be for YOU to take her! Nothing more important to a mom than 1:1 time with her kids, especially when they get older.

 

If you cant afford the tickets (and they aren't cheap), just a promise of a nice evening out for dinner would do!

I'm thinking dinner and another day at the spa.. I like the idea of making a tradition of it.

It has to be personnal. Something you really thought about and has meaning. I know that is not always easy to do but believe me, a special note or picture or take something from a past experience means more than anything to a mom. Find an old story you wrote that maybe she didn't know about. Just spend the day with her, go to lunch. Time is the best gift of all.

Yeah i know, the DVD was the best present i'll ever be able to get her. It's going to be way hard topping that one.
