Running the ball and not taking the chance of throwing a pick would have been a great call if the kick wouldn't have been blocked. The prevent offense is very much like the prevent defense - all it really does it prevent you from winning.

Exactly, UK moved it easily on every other possession.......they had nothing to lose by throwing it on that possession as well. I thought it was a mistake at the time and I still do........but I know that it's a lot easier making those decisions from my sofa than on the sidelines.

No. It is a Philosophical choice: are we going to continue using what has been working, or are we going to modify our behavior to pursue the "safe" course of action? UK's LB's always struggle in coverage and Jones(I thought he moved back to WR) seemed to be lost a couple of times. The CB's(Lindley & Warford played pretty well)...........UK misses McClinton at safety and needs more depth.
November 25, 200718 yr One other thing - Locke has to get more touches. Don't get me wrong, Little is a great back, but Locke is too good to keep off the field. One other note, we bring Tony Dixon in at a crucial time in the 2nd half to get his first carry of the game?
November 25, 200718 yr Well I have been home for a couple of hours after many bowls of chili during the pregame tailgate and a great game them some more bowls of chili I am finally ready to speak. 1. I thought that the play calling was horrible. 2. Woodson isnt a mobile Qb. 3. We should of gone for the win at the end of the game.
November 25, 200718 yr The thing that I copuldnt understand is that we are at the 50 at the end of regualtion and we run a draw play for a 1 yard gain and then have to use 1 of the 2 TO's we have left. I believe people are forgetting about this.

November 25, 200718 yr I think if I have to hear Rocky Top one more time I am going to kill myself. They played that song it seemed like after every play but I have to give the Tennessee fans credit because they brought a good crowd and was very supportive.
