I am going to go with LCA. But I need a shirt to wear to the game.

Ask Bluto if he may have an extra Toga to rent out!! :thumb::lol:

I will go with LCA in a very good one and Good Luck to both teams.

I am going to go with Pikeville. They will be able to stop the LCA running and screen game.

Good luck, Not trying to be mean by any means, But if you put to many in the box to stop the run or the screens, They will kill you with the pass and I mean they have a good QB and receivers. Also punt away from them. Good return team. Super kicker, That will not crack under pressure. They can put you in the hole Quick with there kicking game. If you get the coin toss defer to the second half, trust me. Get the game going before you have to see that kicking game. Double team No# 30 when you can. He will leave the box when there is a lone back, then you can run. But pikeville does not have a passing game to my understanding, so it is going to be a long night for them I am afraid. LCA 42 and pikeville 14. Just a guess, and if they (Pikeville) can throw the ball. Maybe it will be a good game. Good luck to both teams, and remember its a long way till next season.

I have to go with Pikeville in this one.

I don't think Pikeville runs a true option? It is more of a Belly offense. I have said LCA is one of the overrated teams in the state, although they are good still overrated IMO. I think Pikeville will prove it with a big win in Lexington.

i agree :ylsuper:

Pikeville has more of a passing game then you are giving them credit for, when one doesn't have to pass, they usually won't.... nonetheless the Baker kid is a solid option at SE and Ritchie is a pretty good TE. If Honaker is given enough time to set up and throw, he will cause LCa much trouble. The key is to pressure him as he has a tendacy to throw it up regardless.

But once again, if LCA can't stop Harmon then Pikeville will have no need to pass.

Pikeville Panthers

Regional Championships: 19

Overall Record: 63-26-1

Lexington Christian Eagles

Regional Championships: 0

Overall Record: 6-4

Past Playoff Meetings

None

LCA 28-27.

Pikeville can take it to the next level with a focused hard-hitting performance. Leave it all on the field Panthers.

Lexington Christian is much more balanced and athletic than Pikeville. Altough, Pikeville can run the football on the "non-physical" defense of LCA. If the Panthers establish the run and dominate time of possession, they have a shot. If not, it may be a long drive east on the Mountain Parkway.

Is one of the Honaker's still out???

Should be a good one...Action vs Rains!

Coach Rains is 0-2 against Pikeville in Regional Championship games. Pikeville defeated Hazard in the Regional Finals in 1991 and 1992.

I'm going with Pikeville this week and next. Last time LCA played a mountain team (Hazard a couple of weeks ago) they were exposed as young and beatable. Pikeville will further expose these findings!!!!
