In 2 overtimes!!

First of all, most of Lincoln points came in a 5 minute span where PC just played horribly. They blocked their own punt and gave Lincoln a short field and dropped the snap on the next one and gave Lincoln short field again. LC is too good a team to have these kinds of mistakes against and expect to keep them from scoring, but other than that is was back and forth all night. This time around I expect PC will play better. It will be a battle, that I know. PC will not roll over to Lincoln, they will not quit fighting. I think if any team is prime to take the next step this year it is PC.

Also I said this in another thread. This district is loaded! It was a battle every week, even with SW (the team that was odd man out). And next year will be more of the same, since so many of these teams are young and talented.

 

 

Actually, Lincoln had only one district battle all year. It was the first game against Mercer. They easily won the other district games. Not saying this game won't be a battle, but I think PC will have to change their gameplan. You can't just drop back and pass against French's defense.

I'd like to see a PC upset but I think Lincoln will just be too much at home. I'll take the Patriots 21-7.

Lincoln scored in the last minute of the first half and got three touchdowns in about 9 minutes in the third quarter. And the punt block was because a Lincoln defender pushed a Pulaski blocker into the path of the ball.

 

Pulaski could pull an upset if it fares better in the turnover total (PC had 4, LC had 2 in the first meeting), but the way Lincoln defended Muse it's hard to imagine PC scoring more a couple of touchdowns at most, win or lose.

42 pts, have you seen Lincoln's defense play?? I have trouble seeing PC go from 0 to 42. I think they will score this time, but not 42.

I agree......I think it will be closer than the previous meeting but, Lincoln still comes out on top.

I say Lincoln will win by the score on L 35 PC 6. I said earlier in the year that Lincoln could have a shot to play in the state championship.
