I hope CovCath comes over to Ft Thomas and stomps on the midfield H like Scott did tonight. Real nice move boys. As if it wasnt going to be bad enough then to go and do something like that.

They was not stompping on the H on purpose they were breaking it down before the game like every team does and they were not thinking about where they were standing. Every game home or away they break it down in the middle of the field. So you can make a big deal about it if you would like but it had no meaning they were breaking it down if you would have looked at the first game they played they broke it down in the same place.

Also my hat goes off to the whole Highlands program they were a classy team before and after the game. The team was hugging and talking to the Scott players telling them keep thier heads up that Scott had a great season and they play hard and never quit. I wasnt expecting all they was saying usually you shake hands and move on not that night Highlands players showed a ton of class.

Maybe they need to quit breaking it down in the middle of the field??? :D:D

If its going to cause this much fuss maybe so.

Let's end the discussion of illegal activity please!

BGP Rule #9: No discussion of ANY criminal behavior (charged or uncharged) in the high school forums. Discussion of adult criminal behavior is permitted in all non-high school forums. However, discussion of criminal behavior by juveniles (anyone under 18) is never permitted anywhere on BGP.

Maybe we need to re-read Post #27 and discuss the game, not other activities.

What is this "breaking it down " you speak of? Is that some type of dance move?

The Birds better take notice -- apparently, they're in big trouble next week!

The Cov Cath radio guys say the Colonel running game is clearly superior to Highlands.

CCH's 2 are as good as HHS's 2. They're BOTH outstanding. The difference maker is the running qb.

I didn't see it, but what you posted is what I figured happened. No big deal to this Highlands fan. I've never encountered anything but class from the Scott players and fans. Good people.

:thumb:Must agree with E4L on this one. I was at the game 90 minutes before the game started and watched every minute of it. I saw no disrespect on either side and thought it was a classy night for both teams. They do the same warmup, stretching, practice run throughs and break it down before every game. Just because the big H takes up about 25% of the field doesn't mean the Scott players disrespect Highlands or the players. It just means when they got done with they were somewhere close to the middle of the field...

As the final regular season game is now in the books, I want to take a moment to acknowledge some HHS Seniors that haven't gotten a lot of press but have really shown great leadership in their play. Feel free to add to the list but...ADAM REIS, SR DL has had an outstanding campaign and is the motor to our D-Line...BRADY DOWLING, SR C "the MAN in the MIDDLE" has been the anchor to an O-line that keeps getting better and better with every outing...and DREW SIMONS, SR "ATHLETE" it's hard to pin point what he does because he does so many things for HHS and does them well. LB-WR-CB-S-and one of the BEST "hands guy" in fielding kick snaps that I've seen. They don't get the press they deserve all the time but they are paramount to the Birds' success this season. Well done, guys and continue to lead us in the playoffs to #17!!

This is a good ending point.
