Are you saying that they would not have looked good if Male is at full strength? Was you at the scrimmage? Its kind of hard to give an assessment on how good Scott Co. looked if you wasn't there.

I didn't say a word about Scott County ... just noting that Male isn't at full strength, so a 25-point margin doesn't mean a whole lot.

I've heard Heyman may not be playing basketball this year. He may be going to concentrate on football. Do you know anyone else that will be playing basketball from Male's football team or are you just guessing?

On Heyman ... maybe he is, I don't know. Male had several football guys playing hoops last year.

Morris will be facing his old alma mater. I'm afraid early in the year like this it could be ugly for Bell Co.

I know that Simon Kenton is playing Butler today(11/17) at 1:00pm at Lou. Male high school.

Just got in from our scrimmage with South Laurel. Our defense really looked great. This Freshman class is going to be something special. Cards will take some knocks this years but will be competitive as they usually are.

Coach Wright must be a little frustrated to look out there and not see Profit and company this year... I saw them this summer and the talent level isn't the same.

I was impressed more with our D and any one individual.

Deni I though looked good...he is the soccer player that is new this year. Surprised me on how well he jumps . All of our Freshman really impressed me , wasn't sure, and I still am not , on how much they will contribute to varsity this year. Another new kid, sophomore Richard Burton...he is a beast...you won't have trouble picking him out. Hatton, Stenzel, Miller. Lewis and Bennett also had some bright moments....love their D. Another new kid, Ryan Williams ( #21 on the football team) is very quick...just needs time to learn the system. He transfered in from Henry Clay. Bailey did not dress...still rehabing a injury form last year. All in all I liked the new look of the Cards...should be a exciting year.:thumb:

Paducah Tilghman beat Pleasure Ridge Park at Grayson County ... adding the four quarters together, Tilghman won 82-69. Stefon Perry had 37 points for the Tornado and he and Isaac McClure both had double-doubles. Delph led PRP with 28 points.

 

Both teams were missing a starter ... Tony Hazard for Tilghman and PRP's big kid, William Murry. Tilghman's point guard, Jeffrey Williams, went down with a sprained ankle in the middle of the third quarter.

Mason County has 2.

Would love to see the Mason Co -Rose Hill scrimmage but have to be out of town on a business trip. Both teams have some nice ball players.:ylsuper:
