A team I would like to see Highlands schedule is Bell Co. We use to have to play them in the playoffs and honestly they had to be some of the most controversial games we played. It would be fun to finally get to play Bell in the Fort. I don't believe that has ever happened.

 

We played them my sophmore year at home and laid one on them. 35-6 or something!!!! I also believe that was Dudley's 1st or 2nd year at the helm. For the record, Bell had the leading runningback in the state that year before he came to the Birds Nest!!!!!!:thumb:

Seems you write better than you read. I made a point of not pointing fingers, so to speak. And in graph three basically called out the 6A teams for not looking to play the Birds this year with more flexibility available.

Are you sure it was Bell County? I don't see anything in the records around that time. There were games against Caywood and Russell; but I don't see a Bell Co. game.
