LSU 41 Alabama 34

That sound you heard was the collective sigh of relief by any SEC bigwigs that held out hope of a national title game.

Some may think it is me being a lil sour about the loss, but after watching this and a little of the ASU/Oregon game. I think the Ducks should be in over LSU.

While I think Oregon is a great team, and I am not saying you're wrong about whether they should be in, I would like you to remember that Oregon is home, and LSU was on the road. Autzen is an incredibly difficult place to play.

Does it seem like every SEC game goes down to the wire.

Great game.

LSU does have the advantage, with a weaker schedule to finish out and the chance to get an extra win in the SEC championship.

I think we will see come tomorrow, because I think FSU can beat BC tonight.

Bama just seemed to run out of steam. LSU outscored them 24-7 in the final 15 minutes and 20 seconds of the game.

I saw the Deadrick kid from Etown(?) playing for the Tide. Big boy.

This game is just one more example of why you'll never top the SEC for football when it comes to quality of play, excitement, atmosphere, and tradition.

Absolutely agree. I think BC is pretty suspect at #2 anyway considering their performance for the majority of the Va. Tech game. Outside the 4:06 where they finally started playing well, they've been scoreless for 107:59 of gametime.

I think it'll be LSU vs. Oregon for the national title.

I'm watching the Ducks right now and Dixon hurt his knee. They were blowing Arz St out before he got hurt. Arz State then scored in 2 plays and had a huge play down deep close to scoring but the WR fumbled the ball. It got close to being a wild ending but I'd say that's all she wrote now!

On a side note, I think either every confrence should have a championship game at the end of the year or none of them.

Guess his legal issues are behind him?

I hope he isn't seriously hurt. He's the best player I've seen this year.
