November 4, 200718 yr I was really pulling for Bama in this one and I thought that they had it. Bottom line was THAT LSU made the plays at the end to win it. I believe that LSU had more talent and Bama had the better coach. Talent won out in this one....barely. ROLL TIDE ROLL!!! (let Saban get a couple more of his classes in there and look out SEC and the BCS/NC)
November 4, 200718 yr Alabama played a good game. LSU just has more horses right now. D.J Hall is something else--he's a great playmaker. I predicted a 10 point LSU win with the LSU pressure on Wilson being the difference. I was a little off on the spread but the pressure was there when it counted.
November 4, 200718 yr I think it'll be LSU vs. Oregon for the national title. That very well could be "If" Ohio State loses. I also would not count out Oklahoma if they run the table the rest of the way. LSU should be in but I just have feeling that somewhere in the rest of this season that L. Miles arrogance in play calling will cost the Tigers a football game. IMO it just about has a couple of times this season already.

You are right it is Alabama. Who do you pull for so I can get on that team and make statements and use cartoons? I asked you once before. Bama was in the game due to the Qbs bad decisions (LSU) He also made some nice plays. The missed field goal didn't help and having a first and one and didn't get it. Corey Smith the best kicker in the nation is coming next year. 2nd and 19 and we complete the pass but it was overturned, it was a mistake, the recievers knees were down before the ball touched the ground and he had control, Team played well and hard. LSU make the plays late and like someone said we might have ran out of gas.

November 5, 200718 yr If LSU had any discipline at all they would be undeafeted and no one would've played them close. While I'm a UK and Alabama fan LSU made enough stupid mistakes and penalties to keep Bama in the game and allow UK to beat them. If they could play close to a penalty free game it would be scary. Guess it goes back to the head coach. He better head to Michigan if offered, or Nick will be kicking his butt on a regular basis in a couple of years.
