All Play No Work Posted October 29, 2007 Posted October 29, 2007 Think about it.............. The Giants are 6-2?????? The Packers are 5-1?????? Freaking Lions are 5-2??? Carolina is 4-3???? Seattle is 4-3???? I think the Bengals could beat any of them at home and most of them on the road. Other than Dallas how many NFC teams would you put before the following: NE PITT INDY JAX TENN KC SD DEN BALT CLEV
stick1 Posted October 29, 2007 Posted October 29, 2007 Anybody COULD win a division in the NFC from the AFC. The Skins, Cowboys, Giants, Eagles would be the toughest but there are a lot of AFC teams that are better than any in the NFC IMO.
halfback20 Posted October 30, 2007 Posted October 30, 2007 I don't think the Bengals could beat the Giants, Packers, or Lions. Mayne not the Panthers or Seahawks at this point. The Giants have a solid defense and a pretty good offense. The Giants would rush for as many yards as they wanted on Cincy. The Packers would throw all over Cincy's weak pass defense. The Pack also has a solid D as well. The Bengals might stay with the Pack/Giants for a while but in the end the result would be the same in both games. Giants or Packers by 10 or more over Cincy IMO. Cincy's weakness is their terrible defense. Being in a different conference won't fix a terrible defense.
Hangman Posted October 30, 2007 Posted October 30, 2007 I don't think the Bengals could beat the Giants, Packers, or Lions. Mayne not the Panthers or Seahawks at this point. They had their chance to beat the Seahawks, and failed.
halfback20 Posted October 30, 2007 Posted October 30, 2007 They had their chance to beat the Seahawks, and failed. I forgot about that, but that was a road game for the Bengals right? I'm not sure the result would have been any different in Cincy.
Original Rookie Posted October 30, 2007 Posted October 30, 2007 I forgot about that, but that was a road game for the Bengals right? I'm not sure the result would have been any different in Cincy. The Bengals coughed away that game. Not saying they would for sure beat them in Cincy but Seattle is not clearly the better team. At this point, there isn't a division in football the Bengals could win IMO.
malachicrunch Posted October 30, 2007 Posted October 30, 2007 I forgot about that, but that was a road game for the Bengals right? I'm not sure the result would have been any different in Cincy.:lol::lol:
HOMELESS CAMEL Posted October 30, 2007 Posted October 30, 2007 Cincinnati still could finish the season 8-8. I know that's VERY optimistic at this point, but 8-8 would be enough to get in the playoffs in the NFC. Course the question was, could they WIN a division in the NFC. I would say unless they make some major changes in the off-season they might not win a division in any conference anytime soon.
halfback20 Posted October 30, 2007 Posted October 30, 2007 :lol::lol: The Bengals are 2-5. Are you confident that they would beat Seattle at home?
Wireman Posted October 30, 2007 Posted October 30, 2007 I don't know if the Bengals could win the SEC this season.
malachicrunch Posted October 30, 2007 Posted October 30, 2007 The Bengals are 2-5. Are you confident that they would beat Seattle at home? No. Read it the wrong way. I do think this thread is funny though.
UKMustangFan Posted October 30, 2007 Posted October 30, 2007 Win a division? They can't even win a game!
ladiesbballcoach Posted October 30, 2007 Posted October 30, 2007 Could the Bengals beat X, Trinity or Highlands?
bigblueinsanity Posted October 30, 2007 Posted October 30, 2007 The Bengals would win a Div in the NFC
