pigman Posted October 27, 2007 Posted October 27, 2007 I would say you can remove Andre from the list. Worse game I've seen him play. Of course he was down to his 5th running back and Keena did't play, but still a pretty pitiful performance.
Plato Posted October 27, 2007 Posted October 27, 2007 He looked like he did a couple of years ago. Everything was behind receivers or short armed and into the ground. Not many darts thrown today. Yep, I'd say kiss the Heisman (even top consideration) goodbye.
buzzer beater Posted October 27, 2007 Posted October 27, 2007 I would say bye bye to his hopes for the big Heisman. But, it seems like some said the same thing after the SC loss and he bounced back with 2 huge games.
DragonFire Posted October 27, 2007 Posted October 27, 2007 Maybe now we won't have multiple "If the Heisman was given now" or "(Insert Name) says (Insert Name) should win the Heisman" threads anymore. It was a nice run with Andre and the hype, but barring some transcendent (and I'm talking Tom Brady thus far transcendent) games, it's o-v-a.
buzzer beater Posted October 27, 2007 Posted October 27, 2007 Woodson is now up to 7 INT's on the year. That's how many he had all of last year.
Log Mountain Boy Posted October 27, 2007 Posted October 27, 2007 Yeah, up until this weekend I truly thought that him or Tim Tebow were the 2 most deserving players. But he did not play that well. At the same time he didn't play as bad as his numbers showed. The 1st pick was a 3rd and 10 play where he threw it deep. The 2nd pick was a deep pass that Stevie Johnson where Johnson stepped off his route and the 3rd was a desperation play. I thought it really hurt bad to not atleast have the threat of Keenan Burton on the field today. Sometimes bad play is contagious and the entire team had it today. Woodson actually played okay, but not like a Heisman winner.
Wireman Posted October 27, 2007 Posted October 27, 2007 I actually heard a fan today say that Brooks should bench Woodson and put Hartline in the game.
Lucky Charms Posted October 27, 2007 Posted October 27, 2007 I actually heard a fan today say that Brooks should bench Woodson and put Hartline in the game. He would have gotten some serious criticism if he made that move.
Wireman Posted October 27, 2007 Posted October 27, 2007 Tebow's Heisman hopes are on the ropes right now as well.
stick1 Posted October 27, 2007 Posted October 27, 2007 I think going into the game Tebow and Woodson were 1 and 2. There is a possibility that they will both be out of it this weekend. If you all haven't learned by now this crazy football season is going to change the heisman race, the bowl races and the top teams every week! It's still too early to know who is going to win the heisman, who is going to the big game and who is going to what bowls. All the nagging at each other is fun but it can't be taken serious with this much football left. What if Woodson throws for 1,000 yards vs Georgia+Tenn and beats them? Not going to happen but this season has been so crazy I wouldn't doubt anything!
RockPride Posted October 27, 2007 Posted October 27, 2007 I would think that after today as well...everybody but Hart and Dixon's chances are gone. This season is crazy and it will go down to the end. I would like for Brian to have a shot, but that's not happening, neither will Andre` in my opinion. If I HAD to vote right now, my top 5 would be: 1 - Hart 2 - Dixon 3 - Tebow 4 - Ryan 5 - Brohm/Woodson
