October 27, 200718 yr OK, sorry sorry. You UK fans are not use to winning 7-9 games a year so I guess your right, sorry.:sleep::sleep:
October 27, 200718 yr No, I guess we're not "use" to that. Apology accepted. Your not. Woodson may be a legend because of his saving of UK football but he only has 3 good wins. ( U of L, LSU, and UGA from last year ). He is a good QB but I wouldn't call him a "legend" just yet.

October 27, 200718 yr How about the bowl win against Clemson or the road win this season against Arkansas? Come on now - you know those don't rank up there with such impressive victories as Youngstown State or Akron!
October 27, 200718 yr How about the bowl win against Clemson or the road win this season against Arkansas? Clemson lost 4 out of their last 6 or something like that, and Arkansas is what, 4-3??
October 27, 200718 yr Come on now - you know those don't rank up there with such impressive victories as Youngstown State or Akron! Well those wins are as impressive as against Michigan and Texas!
October 27, 200718 yr Clemson lost 4 out of their last 6 or something like that, and Arkansas is what, 4-3?? Clemson defeated each of the teams that played in the ACC Title game and was a signifigant favorite in the game. Arkansas was a road win in the SEC against a team with a Heisman Trophy candidate and the defending SEC West Champs and again the Cats were signifigant underdogs. Both of those are quality wins whether you can see that or not. Something else to remember about the LSU win--that was the first time that the #1 team in the country had been beaten during the regular season in almost 3 years.
October 27, 200718 yr Author Clemson defeated each of the teams that played in the ACC Title game Can you really use both sides of the ACC argument? They are legit when Clemson is the topic, but when it's the BC schedule......................
October 27, 200718 yr Can you really use both sides of the ACC argument? They are legit when Clemson is the topic, but when it's the BC schedule...................... I haven't said anything about BC's schedule nor Ryan's viability as a Heisman candidate. BC has won every game they've played and Ryan is the main reason why--don't lump me in with others when I didn't say any of that.

Not really directed at you as much as the validity of the topic in general. Andre is a legit Heisman contender, and so is Ryan. UK fans (Boston homer not included ) want to dig at Ryan, and I see it as drivel...

October 27, 200718 yr Truth or not, if UL hadn't lost to SU and Utah, Brohm would be the frontrunner....We can play that game all afternoon. Nice job getting around the question except you lost to UConn too! Hang them on LSU or Florida and you will get more respect. Padding stats trying to come back on teams like Syracuse etc isn't going to win it. I love Brohm but he isn't who this discussion is about. Ryan is being touted as possibly winning the heisman. IMO right now he isn't even in the top 4 players in college football and that's being friendly.
October 27, 200718 yr Ryan is good, veryyy good and I don't see how people don't see that. He is GOOD, but not GREAT. He has 9 fewer TDs and 4 more INTs than Woodson. Ryan has thrown more passes (356) than everyone in college football besides Graham Harrell (416). Yet he only manages a 4 way tie for 9th in TDs. Sam Bradford of Oklahoma has thrown 147 fewer passes, and still has more TDs. Lets see what Woodson's stats would look like if he threw as much as Ryan: Ryan - 217/356 - 2433 yards - 61.0% - 6.8 ypa - 19 TD - 8 INT Woodson - 230/356 - 2656 yards - 64.6% - 7.5 ypa - 31 TD - 5 INT

OK that is great, but how is that becoming a legend? to UK fans maybe but not to college football fans.
