Belichick has no mercy...

Featured Replies

He reminds me of Nixon. A man who cheats when he doesn't have to. No, I wouldn't trade my integrity, but I think a lot of this outcry is nothing more then new age jealousy of success.

I'm with you on this one. :thumb:

Why would you want to show your trick plays in a game that has already been decided?

Maybe he doesn't intend to use them in a big game, but rather, show them in easier games to give opponents a little something extra to prepare for. Just a thought...

From the looks of things, the Pats won't be needing any trick plays to win games. They may just be doing it to keep things interesting.

The Pats ran a fake spike (not as good as Mannings) vs the Dolphins Sunday after they were up a pretty good amount. It was incomplete to Moss in the end zone but still.

Darth Hoody has no mercy. If they are still undefeated towards the end of the season you better believe he goes for the Dolphins record.

Whos is not as good as Brett Farve's...:D

I don't understand how he "ran the score up". They scored 42 points in the first half and tacked on a TD in the 4th after Miami had scored 21 unanswered. In case any of you have just started watching the NFL, stranger things have happened, and personally, I have no problem with Belichick putting Brady back in to shut down any possibility of a Dolphin miracle. He gets paid to make sure the Patriots win games and that's what he does.

If you don't want coaches to "run the score up" then petition the league to turn the scoreboard off after a team gets up by 30+ points and have them play the rest of the game for fun.

I loved Belichick's comment afterwards..."I know, I was at the game."

By the way, I'm all for it. Already bought my R. Moss jersey to wear on super bowl sunday...:ylsuper:

.... BRADY MUST GO DOWN!!!!!!!!!!!
You are rooting for a player to be injured?
He's got only himself to blame for having that "cheater" label.

Absolutely... and the big chip on his shoulder will get him trouble at some point.

I'm telling you, I don't think it was Belichick's call. It's all Brady's doing.

I think he is angry about the 'cheater' label and is out to terrorize the league. I think they not only go for the all time record, but run up the score as much as possible...

He shouldn't have gotten caught cheating and they wouldn't have been labeled as "cheaters".

They're both classless, so it wouldn't surprise me in the least.

I don't think so, I just think people really dislike cheaters.

Honestly, the Pats should have been banned from post season play, but we all know the almighty dollar is what kept that from happening.

By running the score up and passing on 90% of the plays Coach Hoody is going to make Brady some kind of football GOD, he us making alot of enemies. Some team is going to come out and at all costs hit Brady hard on ever down without any care about penalties or ejections. Teams have put up with it so far but it is coming. If Belichek gets Brady hit as his own paybacks it will costs this team a Superbowl. I was surprised the Dolphins did not try something after the faked spike and putting Brady bacck into the game late in second half. BRADY MUST GO DOWN!!!!!!!!!!!

Do they have to play the Steelers?:D

I can't believe that some of you are advocating a player intentionally being injured.

Not advocating, just stating that it will happen and when it does, remember whose fault it is...

Belicheats legacy is set... regardless of how many points he scores.
