I know it changed the complexion of the game but to be quite honest after seeing the way this coaching staff manages games I have little or no confidence that they would have been able to hold a 17 point lead. I can not believe that you would say this, especially with how you know when things change within a program there is almost always growing pains. I literally am shocked.

I just hope it was a significant price that the referee paid, especially because he knew about the situation beforehand (see post #19).

You almost sound like a buckeye fan saying that. You guys did get shafted, but the refs only impacted the game, they didn't decide it. Sucks for UL they need all the breaks they can get this year. Much better to own up to it and move on though. Commend you for admitting that. You need to stop bashing OSU in your free time and do some coaching instead with that mentality!
October 23, 200718 yr Bad (Horrible) call....but like the announcers said, play to the whistle. You're taught to ease up when you see his hand wave like that. So many times people have been penalized for hitting a man after a fair catch. The "play to the whistle" excuse is a load of you know what right there.

October 23, 200718 yr The kid needs to be suspended as does the back official. Do you honestly think the kid needs to be suspended??? Isn't that a little extreme? It's not the kid's job to enforce the rules.
