I say Mayfield wins this one, 42-21. Without their QB.

History says Mayfield will win however I would love to see Fulton City pull the upset which would setup a matchup of unbeaten teams in Week #9 providing Lone Oak wins against Muhlenberg No on Friday. I'll say Mayfield by 10

Time for Mayfield to get mean and focused. Play like you were playing, get everyone healed and everything will fall in place.

Go Cards!!

Thanks Admiral & lord knows we need all the support, it really stings after watching the thrashing last week...Boy, we are spoiled as Cardinal fans...I think I was in shock all last weekend after last Friday night!

First as a FC fan this would be a great win for these young men after an upsetting end to last year.

As a HS football fan this will be a great game no matter who wins. I think that both teams will come out strong no matter who is playing or who is benched. Lets hope the refs let these young men play and keep the yellow laundry tucked away.

Good luck to the Cards and the Dawgs

And great job to all the posters this week for not bashing each other

Mayfield, even without their QB, I think is too much for Fulton City.

Cards will further be short handed, in addition to the starting center and qb having to sit, a 2 way starter for the Cards has been dismissed from the team. This Mayfield team looks alot different personel wise than it did just a week ago

Who was it?

Who was it?

Not sure if we are suppose to say, but he plays wide receiver and his name does not begin with "X". I think this may actually make Mayfield a stronger team in the long run and his replacement is very capable. As a whole the attitudes should get better now that the coaches have corrected the problem.

Apparently this thrashing from Calloway County may have been the best thing to happen for the Cards. Now if we can just get Logan healthy!

Why did the QB and Center for Mayfield get ejected?

Does anyone know the answer to this? Was it fighting, running the gums or 2 personal fouls?

Swinging at another player. He got caught and the other player didn't. You have to have a cooler head than that.

I believe the center was ejected for throwing a punch and Logan Armstrong appeared to be ejected for arguing with the officials. The ejection occured after he had been out of the game quite some time. He got hurt in the second quarter and was ejected in the fourth.

My honest opinion is that last weeks Calloway Co game was exactly what the Cardinals needed. I think they've been reading too much of there own press clippings and needed a reality check. Mayfield has some very talented players but the season was going to easy before last week and it's hard to really gel together without some adversity somewhere along the way. It also helped for them to play a team that has that solid a passing game, so, they can work on there deficiencies... Noone likes to lose, but, it may come back to be a good thing in the long run...
