I think its going to be around $25K. Thats what they said on CBS, just going by their info.

25k

I think it goes up for each occurence. I say keep paying!:thumb:

$50,000.

Worth every penny!!!!!

(I think I actually tasted blood when they stopped them on 4th and I yelled out!!!)

$50,000

They said on the radio that a student ran by and said "put a bucket out front we'll pay for it!"

I'm with him!

Now do we storm the field for a win against UF?

Now do we storm the field for a win against UF?

In the voice of Will Farrell doing Harry Carey:

" I know I sure would!"

This year UK raised ticket prices by $5 a head. Commonwealth Stadium holds 70,000 plus. I dont know alot of math but 70,000 x 5 is 350,000. Take away a 50,000 dollar fine and UK still clears 300,000 over what they would have in years past. I think Mitch Barnhart will be pleased to write such a check.:D

YES!!!

I was a year old the last time this happened. I don't remember a time Kentucky has ever beaten Florida. I've suffered through two games in my life where Florida made 4th quarter comebacks at Commonwealth to crush my dreams of beating them. Trust me, I might have to make it out onto the field if we win. Go Cats!

While this week's fine is to be $50,000, and during the game it was announced that donations have reached some phenomenal level, like literally a billion dollars over time, people in the stands were joking about it....the next level of punishment for rushing the field from what I understand is not as funny.

I am trying to find out for sure, but apparently the NCAA can withhold bowl bids from schools where fans are consistently doing this, and we've used up our 3 strikes.

And while I have suffered along with other Kentucky fans for so long, perhaps it is time for the fans to grow up and quit.

Indeed, perhaps we should take on a winning mentality and look at the upcoming Florida game as Kentucky's "trap" game.

I think I saw somewhere today the last time UK beat Florida was 1986.

I dont see what the schools can really do. Should they use 50 foot walls or even barbed wire?
