I think we as fans make way to much fuss about the weather and how it effects the players and the game. A good football team can play in any weather.

Yes, but the two teams with the winning records beat them. So if Russell would have played St. X and Male and lost, that would have them more ready for Mason. I don't really think it works that way. Neither loss was what you would call a close game. I understand what your trying to say. But take away Mason's two losses and the rest of the schedule of both teams are practically the same.

Is it a widely held belief that a sloppy field helps a power running team more than a finesse, passing team? After all, receivers know which way they're taking their routes.

 

Weather reports we've heard has rain ending Friday morning. The field is in great shape; but I don't know how much rain it will hold and drain before getting sloppy.

Not a thing its like a gladiators ring. But the grass needs a little help and so does allot of other fields in that matter.

If you don't think going in at halftime up 20 to 7 and taking Boone County into the 4th quarter down 28-20 with 4 minutes left in the game before coach B was forced to put in our 2's due to exhaustion is close I don't know what is. I understand but he made the comment and I wanted to hear it from him just to make sure he did not mean it another way. Because if thats what he is stating it is a down right lie.
