Can't we all just get along?

Everyone keeps saying that Bellevue is overrated and their schedule is too easy...I'll just say that they are using the Ohio State defense...just beat who is on the schedule...can't help Newport and Ludlow have tanked this season, and so has Paris.

No Dayton would not beat Covcath if they played them 10 times. Dayton has 125-150 boys in the school, Covcath has 1500 boys. Why would you expect Dayton to beat CovCath. Newport Catholic has been playing at Newport since their program started.

 

Wow CovCath must has chopped up each of their 500 boys into 3 pieces.

While it doesn't change your point, I do believe they finally hit 500 boys last year.

 

If they had 1500, they would be a big 6A team not a 4A team playing 5A.

How can you say Bellevue is overrated at all. They have won every game they were suppose and lost everyone they were picked to lose with the exception of newport and ludlow who they were suppose to lose to, but upset them both. So I see no case of being overrated sorry.... :flame:

 

Hey thanks for being realistic and actually realizing that Ludlow really is pretty much at the same level as Bellevue, and that it was an upset when Bellevue beat Ludlow since it was at Ludlow, and if it was at Bellevue then it would not have been an upset. Those two teams are very much alike this year, or were until injuries for Ludlow...

 

As for Bellevue being overrated. Now I think they are overrated in terms of how good a couple of the Bellevue faithful make them out to be. Like with one of them predicting Bellevue wins this week. However they are not overrated in being one of the Better 4A teams in the state this year. Our district this year has 4 of the better teams in the whole state in 1A...:thumb:

As far as being overrated.....well that comes from outside sources. For example Bellevue is still getting votes in the Northern Ky. Post Top 10 poll and those votes aren't from the Bellevue coach.

Good point as this district is really up this year, with four teams in Litkenhous' top 20 class A teams, including #'s 1 & 7!!

Does anyone ever get out of NKY to watch any other games? I don't think the 1A district is stronger this yr, IMO, the teams are ranked higher due to the better 1A teams have moved up in class which weakens 1A overall. W/Beechwood and NCC in the same district, that's a strong district as they both were ranked top 5 for the past several yrs, usually 1,2 or 3.

 

Bellevue will have to play flawless to beat Beechwood even if they are playing a little short handed from what is being told.
