World to end in 2012?

Featured Replies

IMO, I dont think some calender is going to be able to tell us when/if the world is going to end.

Live each day like its going to be your last then everything is going to be ok...

Does end of the world talk seriously creep anyone else out. It does me.

Trips me out too 98....Scary stuff...Don't like it...At all...

I used to freak over this stuff when I realized, our very own lifes could any anyday at anytime.

^ exactly.....I mean, when we go...the world as we know it is over. I actually have, at times, thought, maybe that's the interpretation that I should take about the "end of the world" . . . I don't know, it's scary, makes my stomach kind of queezy. I have recently (since having kids and such) said that a goal of mine, is to be OK to die. I amnot there yet, it's a long battle.

Won't happen.

I have 110 years on my contract with the man up stairs.

FOR THOSE RELIGIOUS POSTERS WHO ARE EASILY OFFENDED PLEASE PAY NO ATTENTION TO MY POST IT WAS MEANT TO BE FUNNY ON SOME LEVEL.

I can't see the Cubs winning a World Series in the next five years. I think we're safe.

The Mayan calendar, which was put into effect over 2000 years ago, ends in 2012. The thing that is amazing is how accurate this calendar is. After all these years it is only off by a second or two. It's been a while since I learned about this (high school) but the fact that they could create something that would last this long and be this accurate really is amazing. I just hope that the theories about the world ending are wrong, to be honest they scare the heck out of me.

The History Channel is airing a show about the Mayan Calender right now.

As long as when I go, all of BGP goes with me. No way could I allow you guys to post without setting you straight...

Same here, I had to watch a documentary on the Mayans in high school and that calender bit startled me. I remember being disappointed because if I remember correctly, the 'end is near date,' is set just about a week or so before Christmas.

So Rosie is giving a concert in 2012.

:laugh::lol: Nice one.

UK beats LSU... another of the prophecies fulfilled! We are a step closer. I think the Mayans even have UK a 2 point favorite over Florida! Very scary stuff.
