You can die from an overdose of caffeine & aspirin. You can not overdose on marijuana.

Amsterdam....the king of legalized marijuana....has one of the lowest crime rate in the world.

I voted yes. I don't smoke it now and wouldn't start tomorrow if it was legal. I think the benefits of legalizing it more than outweigh the potential negatives of the small number of people that would begin smoking it that don't now (like for that 3 or 4 hundred people on the Planet that couldn't find it if they wanted it).

I once heard someone on 60 minutes say that its illegal because its dangerous, with that he also stated thats also the reason why it should be legal. I believe that it could be regulated much like cigarettes if it were made legal, and Im sure the government would make SOMETHING off it, but I also believe alot of controversy would come with the legalization.

I'm not so much worried about the "new" smoking recruits, but how it would affect those now, who at least do this in their own home.

 

If legal, every conversation would start with...."Hey dude" and spiders, would be jumping across cows, while driving down the street for some chronic users.

I am in support of it. I personally don't care for it, as it never had any real effect on me. I am not against it. I would regulate it heavily, and tax it that way as well. A lot of our nation's problems would be given an assist right away.
