Ashland is getting a Cheddar's

I'm glad my wife doesn't read BGP. We were going to eat at Cheddars (never been there before) the other night, and I nixed it. I was hungry and there was a wait.

I used to live right across the street from Cheddars in Lexington on Tates Creek. I have eaten there many times. It is very good, especially for the price. They are pretty much cheaper than their competitors. That actually sounds like a plan for the next time I go back to Lexington. Their only downfall would be that they do not have many pasta dishes.

Maybe if you would stop going to class! We could have gotten Outback out of the way last week, but somebody had to go to class. Now its entirely necessary I go to Outback before I go to Cheddars.

I've never been there when there wasn't a wait. And the "newness" has definitely worn off by now, so that should tell you something about the place.

Been to the one in Florence on Houston Road and the food was good, service good and atmosphere good. Only problem if you get there to late you will have to wait awhile. Go around 11:30 a.m. for lunch or around 4:00 pm for dinner anytime later you will have to wait. By the way big portions for your money. JD

Have eaten at the one in Florence .Good food and inexpensive too .

I have been to the one up in NKY and it was terrible everything about it was awful and I will never be back there again.
Looks like you are by yourself on this one . Maybe you should give thr place another chance .

Saw where they are building a new one at Todds Rd and Man of War. I have never eaten there, but hear it was great. Will try it when this new one opens.

I would say that they're comparable to a Friday's and Applebee's type of place. However, the food quality is much better, and the prices are better.

Cheddars is a great place. Good food and better prices than most comparable restaurants.

Great Monte Cristo sandwich

My wife loves that too. I just can't understand how you can eat a jelly donut stuffed with ham and turkey. :creepy:

This is great news! I'm beginning to wonder when we are going to see some growth out at Cedar Knoll though. The new alcohol law has been in place now since July and I haven't seen any indication of growth.

Has the new eatery in the mall opened yet?

Reds country BBQ opened up on the 6th I believe.

Chedder's is WONDERFUL!!!!!

The one in Lexington didn't open until after I left the area but it's one of my favorite places to go when I'm in town. As a matter of fact . . . that was the first placed I'd ever eaten loaded fries and now you can get them just about anywhere!!!!

Glad to see that Ashland's expanding on their restaurant choices!!!
