I think we are in for a treat. This could very well be an excellent game. Win or loose I sure hope so I'm tired of blow outs.

Hard to believe this is the last home game fo the regular season for the Devils. Talk about saving the three best games for last! Simon Kenton, followed by a trip to Mason County, and then the renewal of a rivalry some 34 years in the making at Raceland.

 

This is the Devil's senior night, it will have been a rainy sloppy week, the field will still be slow and I think that favors Russell and power running game. This will be a fantastic ball game, but I think the emotion of Senior night and the last regular season home game will get the Devils off to a fast start and help them ward off a late SK rally.

I'm glad someone finally brought this to the discussion. Senior Night, for these 20+ senior's is hopefully going to bring out that little "extra" spark for Ivan's team that he has been looking for all year. Add that to the fact that this group also does not want to be the one who breaks the streak.

No way might be a little strong. IF this team come in ready to play they can be very good. Every game this year Russell has been a big favorite to win and IMO played like they thought they just had to show up. This game with SK will be their first real test as far as not being a overwhelming favorite. It should be very interesting.

That statement was said last year and the year before also. No way is probable not the best way to discribe it. I would say that Belfry should be heavily favored. Keep in mind Those two may not even meet. Mason is a very good team and may just win it all. Thats why we play though.

I don't know enough about SK to make an informed prediction.

I don't remember any Belfry fans saying that last year, and if they did, they were talking out of somewhere other than their head. Anybody who follows Russell and Belfry knows that anything can happen when they get together and I'm sure if they meet this year, it will be no different.

I think Simon Kenton is its own biggest weakness. If they come out flat like they did against BC it will get ugly, but if they come out with a little emotion and swagger they can play with anyone.
