I think we are all in for a treat. I see a very good game from these two teams. I'm sure S K is concerned about the Wing-T just as Russell is concerned about pass defense. I hope all the Simon Kenton fans enjoy our stadium and facilities. Have a safe trip.

 

 

Russell is a fine team, but it's the worse Russell Defense I have seen in several years, I even noticed Coach Garry Morris up in the pressbox last game and he normally is on the field, I am guessing they are searching for answers. Hope Russell can extend that home winning streak, but when you play teams from Northern KY it's just different football up there.

They have not been as good as they have been. Although they have been good enough to win and that is what counts. They will be tested tomorrow you can bet on that. Can they pass the test? We will find out.

Watching Boone and Dixie on TV .... Going to be a game for Devils ... Looking forward to challenge ..... This will be real learning experience and confidence builder for Devils ... If Devils win , 3A needs to look out the rest of the way ...

If you want to compare this defense to the last several years thats quite a lofty status to live up to.

Since your guessing, and guessing about Gary Morris. I guess you realize this is the time of the year that Gary Morris starts pulling things out of his hats and sleeves, and even other peoples ears. Whether the defense can withstand this Northern Ky. challenge no one will know until tomorrow evening. But my guess is the Devils will be ready. And the secondary will step it up.

And something else, see that picture below FBALL's name. That means a whole lot more to them people in flatwoods and Russell than it means to the rest of us.

In past years SK would have loved to hear this, now i'm not so sure if this is a good thing or a bad thing.

I can agree on watching the Wing T when it is ran right(and Russell runs it right). I am old school and enjoy watching th offenses like the WingT, Wishbone, Veer, Power I, Option I and the like. Imo the only way to stop an offense like the WingT and other option styles would be to get penetration in the backfield and disrupt it before it gets started. That is JMO as a fan and watching these type "O's" and I realize that there are many that know much more than I do about it and how to defend it.

 

I don't know anything about SK other than what I have heard on here so I will just say that I hope that both teams remain injury free. :thumb:

Morris has been in the press box a couple of times this year for health reasons. It's not affected his Coaching one bit. Russell has a young defense and a young secondary. They will come around and last time I checked the Devils were still unbeaten. I don't know that you can ask for more than that.

I hope he is okay didn't know that, he is a great person and coach. Everyone wants to talk about other teams and their schedule until tonight though Russell's schedule hasn't been that great and even with that said Simon Kenton isn't near as strong as other people in Northern KY.
