October 3, 200718 yr Was this kind of stuff going on under Petrino? I would have to assume this happens on most teams, but UofL's seem to be pushing it and getting caught... which is a GOOD thing. Get this stuff weeded out... no pun intended.
October 4, 200718 yr Suspended this week! Things keep getting worse for UofL. I hate to see Brohm go out the way things are going. I have a lot of respect for him for going to UofL when he could have gone elsewhere then the opportunity to jump ship for the NFL but instead stayed loyal.

Strip did the same thing that probably 40% of college athletes do without consequence, yet he got suspended for it. If anything, it shows that Krag is tougher on his players. Petrino was notorious for turning the other cheek when it cames to incidents like these. Krag is laying down the law with his players now on something that wasn't an issue these past 5 years that Petrino was here. Lots of coaches aren't worried about what their players are doing off the field, but Kragthorpe obviously is. Good for him...
October 4, 200718 yr Why all of a sudden does it seem that there are problems with Louisville players, whether it be criminal, attitude or other discipline problems? Is it a case of the players testing their new coach, or is it that Coach Bobby P. did a better job of keeping these things in house? Ding Ding Ding Kragthorpe is a players coach...it will be his downfall especially coming in after Petrino.

October 4, 200718 yr Author Ding Ding Ding Kragthorpe is a players coach...it will be his downfall especially coming in after Petrino. Kragthorpe is way harder on these boys in regards to off the field situations...
October 4, 200718 yr This is a good thing? The getting caught part, yes. I said it before, these guys need to get their priorities straight. If they're dumb enough to have weed on them then they oughtta be punished... not to say I'm against it's legalization, but the fact is that it's NOT and it's a stupid risk these guys take, and I can't abide stupid people.

October 4, 200718 yr I never thought that Petrino "just turned the cheek" on this type of stuff, but when you look back at it, it all fits together. I do believe that Petrino just pushed it under the rug..... I think thats what happened on the home front as well, with some help from some administrators. Thumbs up to Coach K for using a herbicide.....
