October 3, 200719 yr Kragthorpe suspends Stripling for Utah game **********************on a side note*************************** I have found out today that Stripling may have been caught with the lettuce...more info later. Hated it when I was told on Monday...
October 3, 200719 yr Why all of a sudden does it seem that there are problems with Louisville players, whether it be criminal, attitude or other discipline problems? Is it a case of the players testing their new coach, or is it that Coach Bobby P. did a better job of keeping these things in house?

Is it a case of the players testing their new coach, or is it that Coach Bobby P. did a better job of keeping these things in house? Or did Petrino's high strung style keep the players in line for the most part...then Kragthorpe comes along and everyone's gushing about how he's a players coach, and the players ease up, become less worried about discipline if they slip up and then things spiral down from there? Now, maybe Kragthorpe is trying to send a message to his team that the fun is over and he's going to regain control. I don't know....just guessing here.
October 3, 200719 yr Just further proof that the Louisville Cardinals = Cincinnati Bengals. j/k... Well, not when it comes to defense but to this...yes.

October 3, 200719 yr This is obviously a huge issue at UL right now. They need to clean things up quick before they develop a bad reputation among people who did not already dislike UL.
October 3, 200719 yr Author I think it is indeed a mixture of both....I don't know when it will end....but I do know that it needs to soon. I have grown tired of these kids "testing" their luck..

I am sure that they are not concerned about what people who don't like them think....I am sure they are trying to get this train rolling in the right direction...all on board or get off.

In UL's defense I believe drugs are very prevelent on a lot of college football team. But some get caught and thats what happened here.
October 3, 200719 yr Author ^ I agree. They were all over the place when I was playing, I am sure they are more prevalent now.

October 3, 200719 yr These players need to understand that the coaches are in charge. It is not the inmates running the asylum.
October 3, 200719 yr At least he didn't eat the lettuce like some players This comment flew under the radar, but I appreciated it. Just wanted to let you know.
