The American Medical Association considers two or more events of unexplained, uncontrollable shaking to be a epilepsy. There are varying degrees of seizures, from grand mal to mild. You need to see a doctor about neurological deficit.

It doesn't have to be at least two though does it? You can go to the doctor and have tests done to see if you have epilepsy.

Okay, I was laying on the couch sleeping when my girlfreind got home and woke me up. I mopped around a little bit then I went to lay in her bed. After a few minutes my body started to shake uncontrollably. I knew what was going on and didn't have a fever and wasn't hysterical but my body was shaking and I couldn't get it to stop. I called my aunt and she told me to take some IbProfien. After about ten minutes of this crazy shaking it stopped and now I feel fine, just a little afraid to go to bed..

What should I do?

That is very weird.

Go to doc asap...

Go to the doctor my friend...

Okay okay, I'll be going to the doctor monday.

VERY smart move... assuming you have insurance DON'T let it go to waste anyways.

What if this happens next time and your on the highway driving? I'm not trying to scare you but I have a friend with bad seizures and he isn't supposed to drive long distances. However, if you do have this problem which I have no clue, they have tons of meds that can help you control it.

Yeah I don't want it to get worse. I think I have a cousin who use to have seizures all the time when she was a teenager so my grandma is concerned I might have that and she isn't letting this go easy. I'll keep you updated on what the docs say.

Did you get a cold chill? I did once and I shook for a long time. Girlfriends bed? Matthew 7.

Ha ha she lives in Lexington and I was in town for the football game saturday..

I didn't mean to add that but once I realized it was to late..

Yes, while I was shaking I was very cold and at first I was under a few covers. I got up and walked around don't remember being anymore cold or anything. However the rest of the night I had hot flashes.

Haha, I think you have figured out what it is.:laugh:

Apparently you caught COOTIES from your girlfriend. You need to cross your fingers, touch her and say "No take backs". See a doc dude...

I forgot to update this, I went to the doc yesterday and he said it was most likely a panic attack, that could have been set off by anything. He thinks it was the fact that I had class, work, and a long drive that day that something just set it off. He said it most likely wasn't a seizure because I didn't lose concsiousness. However, he was worried and said just to call him if it ever happened again.

BTW he was one my highschool football team doctor's so he knows me pretty well.

I get panic attacks which reminds me, out of medicine and havent taken it in 2 days:scared:, but I feel like I'm going to have a heart attack, like my pulse gets up to over 150 beats a minute, its crazy!
