How was Bama favored, Arkansas was in the top 25 and Bama wasn't. To me that makes the Hogs the favorite last week.

 

McFadden won't beat UK alone, this is a different UK defense that last year.

 

The line was Bama by 3. By the way I am pretty sure that Arkansas is the favorite this week with the Cats in and the Hogs out of the top 25.

Playing on the road is night and day sometimes. A better way to compare the two offense's would be by position. This isn't the thread for it but UK would have the edge in every skill position IMO.

UK will win this game, and then hopefully some UK fans will believe in this team. Yes, some people can say that they're just being realistic but seriously, when it's this close of a debate and apparently could go either way, then why not give the edge to UK? I think they can really win this weekend if they play hard.

No turnovers on offense or special teams

Limit big runs

DO NOT give up special team TD's

Make XP's and field goals

don't let your emotions get the better of you (road game in SEC, UK players will not get every call and they need not let it get to them)

I was just reading an update that Keenan Burton is questionable for Saturday.

McFadden is still suffering from a concussion but is expected to play Saturday. Arkansas will be without Marcus Monk (WR), Ben Cleveland (WR), and Ernest Mitchell (DT).

Yes I've seen Bama play a bit this year. I have my opinion and you have yours I guess we can leave it at that.

This is an intersting swing game for both Kentucky and Arkansas. A win for either team could propel them into the middle of the season with a great deal of momentum and possibility. The Cats must come off of their emotional high in order to play the way they need to, anything less will not be sufficient to win this type of SEC road game.

 

This Kentucky team has proven itself, through the last games of last season and the first 3 games this season, to be a very resilient and tough football team. And their record of 8-1 in their last 9 games proves this. I believe this Kentucky team will come out Saturday night motivated and extremely focused to prove to people that they do in fact belong in the national limelight. With the senior leadership this team posseses, I believe we will see a team that will be very businesslike in their demeanor and it will transfer to the field.

 

I think we will see Andre Woodson and the Kentucky offense continue to be extremely efficient and will continue to score points. But I believe the biggest thing that will come out of this game is that we will truly see teh progress this Kentucky defense has made. Granted the numbers haven't quite been where we want them to be as far as yardage given up and things, but I have seen this defense become a very effective unit. At the end of last season we were able to be a physical, in your face defense (especially against the run) when we faced Tennessee and Clemson, and this seemed to continue against Louisville. I think we will continue to see this, and the defense will step up big in this game.

 

Kentucky again must force turnovers for their defense to be effective, and I think they will. I think this is another statement game for Rich Brooks and company as he shows how good of a football coach he really is.

A loss at Arkansas shouldn't mean UK is a fluke...of course, following up a win against U of L with a road victory against last year's SEC West champion would really get a lot of skeptical fans on board.

 

Going into the season I felt LSU and Florida were two games we'd probably have no chance of winning...EKU, Kent State, FAU, Miss State and Vandy were games we should win...so, I marked the U of L, Arkansas, South Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia and Tennessee games as swing games. I picked UK to win at least two of those and get to seven wins. Hopefully, they can do more than that, but those are all tough games.
