Awesome. The Reds can't make ESPN with their game, they need a media-player feud.

"Adam Dunn looks like a monkey with a football in left field," Cunningham said. "He has to have consequences for what he does. That is again a loafing ballplayer who ... would have blew a .15 if someone gave (him) the intoxilizer last night. I say .15. The son of a gun is drunk. And he's playing baseball in left field for the Redlegs."

Where is the feud? Dunn made one comment and moved on.

Well what did Dunn do though? I mean to recieve those comments....

So is Griffey....

David Wells was drunk on the field....How'd that game turn out? ;)

Heck, didn't Dock Ellis throw a no-hitter while tripping on acid?

I think Dunn should sue Willie for slander. Unless Willie has evidence that he was in fact drunk, then he is saying things that aren't true and slanderous. This could potentially cause Dunn harm in that it could hurt his (potential) endorsement deals...

To someone who listened to the show: were the comments obviously facetious or was he being serious, or implying he may be serious?

I agree. Slander (on the air) and libel (in print) are not issues to be taken lightly.

So you have though. When he says there are thousands of people on hold to talk to him, in a show full of bravado and exaggerration and exaggeration. Did you believe that too?

So do you think he means his comments about Democrats or is it bravado and exaggeration?

When Cunningham went to apologize yesterday, Dunn told him he was pathetic and that it wasn't over....Doesn't sound like he's letting it go.

Just because he plays like he is drunk, doesn't mean he is drunk.Maybe Willie is onto something here.He sees two balls coming at him in the field and picks wrong one both times. He sees two third base bags and picks the wrong one to step on.Maybe he sees two balls being thrown at him when he bats and that is why he strikes out so much.Just kidding but.

Good for Dunner. Cunningham is such a joke.

I say suspend him. Comments like that are unnecessary.

I take everything he says with a grain of salt and listen to his show for what it is, entertainment and a little political commentary.

As an aside, I believe every negative thing I hear about Democrats and none of it that I hear about Republicans. :p
