But fresh corn on the cob with butter oozing down my chin after a bite is soooo very good.

What do you enjoy fresh out of the garden?

Banana Peppers! We have plenty of those growing behind my home, and boy are they good; just gotta add a little salt.:thumb:

Tomatoes.

Green peppers. :thumb:

Tomatoes.

:thumb: There's nothing better than a ripe tomato right out of the garden. There's no comparison between one just picked from a garden and one bought off a grocery shelf.

Tomatoes, cucumbers, onions, corn, canteloupe (but not watermelon or honeydew), blackberries, concord grapes, green beans (Roma only, nothing with strings), eggplant (my wife makes THE BEST eggplant parmesan). I'm sure to be missing something.

I had a scotch cap pepper straight from my garden 2 weeks ago . Never again I had to put ice cubes in my mouth for 1/2 an hour .

Anything actually out of the garden is good.

Radishes are the best home grown.

I agree, you can't go wrong if you pick it yourself..

Especially, the tommytoes that you can pluck right off the van, plop in the mouth and munch down on like a little snack.

Also, fresh green beans with potatoes are pretty good.
