May did look very good from the TB spot. However, give Corbin's D-Line some props....they did a very nice job containing the fullback for much of the night. I have to think we'll see more of the FB in weeks to come.

In all the years I've been associated with BHS...I can't remember when we've had so much talent across the board in the backfield. Now...with that being said....I certainly don't see a Doug Howard, David Jones or even a Matt Maynard back there....someone with breakaway speed that we came so accustomed to.

But the stable is extremely full. Timmy Lovern and Thomas Varney both look very promising as soph's.

I think the Pirates have 5 guys than can come in and there be little to no drop off, but the backfield with Howard, Jones, and Childers is up there among the best to ever play in EKY. I can't say these guys are in that league yet.

Belfry big. They will be hard on any one who has the misfortune of getting in their way this year. They have lots of talent and are well coached.

Well looks like I am going to be there for the game. I am leaving Columbus as soon as my kids get out of school and I should be at Cam right at kickoff.

Any other BGP people going to be there? Would really like to meet Watusi and some other posters.

Sounds great UK. Enjoy your trip and drive safely and we'll see you at the CAM. I'll PM you about the particulars.

I may be in the Columbus area, Sunday and Monday.

Make 2C, buy you dinner while at the game....:D

Ill take him to the best tailgate party this side of Lexington. :thumb:

I was impressed with the way Lawrence Co handled the run against Coal Grove. Belfry is a fine team and a win over the Pirates would be great leap forward for our program. Lawrence Co. 21, Belfry 14.

We are going to win!!!!!!!! Where is a good place to eat up there to celebrate our victory?

Belfry's running game is a completely different monster than Coal Grove... a 6 headed monster at that.

As for good places to eat following the game, you have a wide assortment of fast food places (Arby's, Wendy's, Taco Bell, McDonalds, Long John's, Dairy Queen, Captain D's, and Subway), a couple Pizza places (Pizza Hut, Giovanni's), and a couple sit down restaraunts (Thoroughbred Steakhouse, Starter's) all within 3 miles of the stadium. If any places strike you as a good place to eat at, just lemme know and I will tell you exactly where it is and how to get there,,, don't know if you will be a celebrating a victory,,, but the at least you won't go hungry.:thumb:

I haven't been to the new stadium. I will be coming in on US 52 from the WV side, so is it easy to find?

If you are coming that way and have been to Vipperman before then you can't miss it. It is within eyesight of the Southside Mall.

I was very impressed with how physical Belfry was in week one. The o-line were VERY impressive.

When Elkins completed his first little pass out in the flat to the TB on a 3rd and medium, I looked at the guy next to me and smiled. If Belfry can make plays through the passing game, they are going to be tought to handle. Based on what I saw last week, I think they can!
