Preseason Top 25

Featured Replies

I really don't see South in the top 25 this year. I hope the surprise me.

They are at best the #3 team in the 13th region IMO. Cumberland and Corbin are way ahead of them and Id say Pineville is too.

There are probably a couple of better Western Ky teams, and Louisville teams, but I dont really know about any of them.

Teams like Fairdale, University Heights, Paducah Tilghlman, etc are intriguing.

Mason County will be the top ranked team in state before the season is over.

I'd slide CovCath in there at 17, drop Montgomery County and you got a decent list.

I watched Montgomery whip June Buchannon in the state AAU tournament pool play. Yes, I know it was summer ball, but JB had all their starters there.

Drop them out now, but be ready to put them back in later...

:scared:

My thoughts exactly, but it is August!

Corbin and Cumberland will be 2 great teams this year

Noticed that Cumberland was really coming on at the end of the year last year. How many kids are in there school? I thought there enrollment was rather small.

Please someone tell me how Lex Cath can be ranked in the top 5. There not even the best team in Lexington. I would say they're the 5th best team in the region behind SC, BS, HC, MC.

Novosel is not even the best player in the city so why does that make Catholic a legitiment top three team in the state??????

LC will be very good this year. Easily top five IMO.

I think the fact that they have 4 good players on their team now that they added Sanford. He gives them an athletic boost. They always play hard. I think they are better coached than some schools are in Lexington also.

Much like with Henry Clay, there is a question mark at point guard.

Cumberland has an enrollment of a little over 300.
