Don't be suprised if Adair County makes a good run towards the end of the season.

This time of year it is a toss up as to what school will become sucessful. Summer ball does not mean much .

Ballou and Fudge are tough.

Ballou and Fudge are tough.

Ballou, a 6'8'' junior, already has surpassed 1,000 points and 500 rebounds. He's getting some D-1 looks.

Fudge, a senior guard, runs the team nicely and has a good shooting touch.

They should have a good year and compete for the 5th.

I do not agree with you about that. IMO you watch and see the same schools that won big in the summer will be the ones winning big in the winter and spring, with the exception of a small number of teams that were playing without an injured star player, for example Corbin played I think all summer without their top guy Josh Crawford and were obviously not as succesful as they would have been with him. There may be another case or two such as this.

If you base it on summer ball, Boone Co. went 16-5, with 2 of their losses being competitive games against Scott Co. and Mason Co. They should have a good year and challenge for the 9th region.

It is still anyones game and top spot .

Granted, but they still beat a lot of good teams this summer and could sneak into the top 16-25 this year.

Agreed my friend.

I still think Scott Co. the best in the 11th even without Bud. They have alot of experience and you will see alot coming off the bench this year. If a couple of parents keep their traps shut this year and let the coaching staff do their job they will be fine. In the past few years its all been about one persons son that didn't see the ball enough or have enough touches.
Yes they are very good, but without Bud I think the top spot in the 11th goes to LexCath as they have added Vince Sanford.

Scott co will do well, but they have a lot to overcome and need to regroup.

Regroup??? They are defending champions, with or without Mackey. It's the rest of the state that needs to regroup. I'm not so sure how you can regroup yet since practice just began today and Mackey will be missing from day one.

I agree with you Ms Liberty
