August 10, 200719 yr UK does not want to play "tha DEVILS" now either. Especially within the next two years. Uk will not play Duke because Duke refuses to schedule big-time home and homes with teams. Not that big of a deal. Would like to see UK mix it up...play Kansas, UCLA, Arizona...

Then, I would schedule a home-and-home with a tradition-rich program and then rotate teams every two years. For example... 2008-09 - Texas 2010-11 - UCLA 2012-13 - Michigan 2014-15 - Illinois 2016-17 - UCONN Not only are you talking about serious home and home series, but I think Billy G wouldn't mind inviting some recruits in those towns to the game on the road.

But when you admit you were only taking shots at UK and you didn't believe what you were saying with the rest of the comments, then your credibility is lacking greatly. If you want respect from your fellow posters for what you say, you should stick with the issues and offer your opinion, once, on most issues. Continually beating a dead horse on an insignificant issue, or repeatedly making every issue about hating on UK will not help your case at all because there is no merit in that. Rather, you should save the hard core feelings for the right time when UK deserves the criticism (and there will be plenty of opportunities if you watch closely). Then you jump in with both barrels on something that you can really get a hand-hold on. The UK fans won't like it any more, but you will still get to make your points and I guarantee they will respect your posts more.

I think that's a good idea, but I don't consider Michigan tradition rich, especially the last 10 years.

August 10, 200719 yr Come on folks, I'm pretty certain that if you look back over the years UK has always had one of the tougher OOC schedules in the country. Traditional rivals like Louisville, Indiana, et al, even in down years have been formidable. Only a UK hater or someone with another agenda would suggest that UK is "ducking" anyone. That might be among the silliest comments I've ever seen here. This isn't high school, nationally prominant programs want and need exposure where they anticipate they'll be recruiting in coming years. Also, coaching friendships etc. do play a major role in where coaches schedule. Give it a rest man, won-lost record? Ducking? Please. :thumb: :thumb: Excellent post.
