I just find it funny that many of those who criticize Bonds are no where to be found when other huge accomplishments occur under a cloud of doubt.

Such as?

If he was the only one doing it. It would be a different story in my eyes. He just did it better than everyone else.

Interesting theory. Reward the cheater if he's better at cheating than his counterparts.

I assume that logic doesn't apply to bank robbers?;)

For those that say he deserves it....

If it comes to light that he did indeed take steroids, will you change your mind?

They'll probably say no but I bet they were after Sosa when he used a corked bat...Both help you hit the ball farther.

Lance Armstrong.

Are you telling me that no one thinks Armstrong is tainted in a sport that is infamous for doping?

Definitely not, he is a strong individual. He doesn't look like a steroid user so to the public he isn't. Palmerio didn't look like one either, but we all know how that turned out....

Everybody's body is different...The way steroids would affect you might not be the same way they affect me...For people to automatically dismiss ARod because he is a "Golden Boy" is comedic.

The suspicions surrounding Armstrong didn't boil over until AFTER he broke the record, not during his run as is the case with Bonds.

Wrong...Nice try.

We can all agree that one's head and feet growing after fully reaching adulthood is quite unusual, right?

I assume you meant his interview. He's a great guest. Kornheiser used to have him on his radio show all of the time.

I meant tonight. The players using when Bonds was in question spread far and wide, and outside of the 73 year, his numbers were nothing but consistent across the board.

If the "steroid era" is attached to Bonds, it is attached to a whole lot more than this record.

I enjoyed every minute of tonight with no hard feelings about the "steroid era" at all.

Blast away...

No I work at a bank, I don't like that idea.

So that means Bonds did it??

Not at all, many do. Just that there wasn't much of an uproar on here when that whole controversy came about.
