August 9, 200719 yr I completely disagree. If something falls within the rules, it is not cheating. Steroids are ILLEGAL...does that mean anything?
August 9, 200719 yr Steroids are ILLEGAL...does that mean anything? Aren't there supplements that have since been banned by baseball that are not illegal?
August 9, 200719 yr Sure....they are against the RULES now....steroids have been against the LAW for a hot one.
August 9, 200719 yr Sure....they are against the RULES now....steroids have been against the LAW for a hot one. Okay, well if what he took was one of these other supplements, would that change anyone's opinion?
August 9, 200719 yr Okay, well if what he took was one of these other supplements, would that change anyone's opinion? If we could prove it was a LEGAL supplement? Yes it would change my opinion of the validity of the record...but nothing will change my opinion that Barry is a butthead....

It's an upper that was used on game days to prevent getting worn down over the course of a season. I've heard stories of "leaded" and "unleaded" coffee in every clubhouse in baseball prepared for whoever needed a pick-me-up that day.
