The success of each forum makes it a reasonable move. It will take some getting used to, but I really don't have to worry about it until July 23rd... :banana:

Is it possible to offset the forum titles in the drop-down list? For instance, 'Forums' is italicized and bold, could you put High School Sports, College Sports, Professional Sports, and General Discussions in bold a level down, and then a level down from that list the forums under that category?

Auto Racing and Pro Sports are under Professional Sports. That what 2 means.

College has been divided into Football, Basketball and All Other Sports. We gave college baseball a look, but there's just not that many college baseball threads, so they get thrown in with other college sports.

 

You'll see similar changes in Professional Sports. Unlike college baseball, the MLB will get its own forum. This is all in an effort to help members more easily find threads that they are interested in, much as the high school forums are set up. By setting up separate forums for sports that see a lot of post volume, we make it easier to read, post and start new threads. Although college baseball doesn't get it's own thread, it still comes out way ahead, because the baseball threads won't be buried admist a zillion football and basketball threads. Heck, if Tubby had stayed at UK, he might have got his own forum.

College Recruiting has had a forum longer than I've been a member.

 

Keep in mind that what you presently see is a work in progress. It might take a couple of days for the dust settles and you can see the final product.

I liked the other one better but hey it will grow on us. The pro sporting one is just so thin.

More than anything there is some useful information in that forum for players and parents considering college athletics.

I know when I first saw it, since I use the forum list to go from board to board. I could have SWORN there was something different, but I couldn't figure it out. EVENTUALLY my high school education self solved the mystery. :lol:

 

I think it's a great idea with college football starting soon, that board will be full of all that talk. If you are sick of reading about football or want to read JUST college basketball, there is a seperate place.
