Sorry to be redundant, but they only had to notify MLB by 4:00, it could be quite a while before finalized deals get announced. Could be nothing more happens, could be a bunch more gets announced.

Something probably would have leaked out by now.

I wouldn't assume that by any means.

Have you heard anything?

Patience is a virtue my friend...

Chad Moeller outrighted (AGAIN) and Mark Bellhorn (he of the double ear flap -- love those) called up.

Apparently Krivsky told Petey Mack shortly after 4:00 not to expect any news, that they weren't able to make any deals at the 11th hour.

While I didn't think Dunn would get moved, and I truly didn't think Bronson would, I absolutely thought Hatteberg and Conine would have been shipped out.

Could this mean a New General Manager at the end of the year...?

I asked Lance today, what's the positive in doing that? You won't get any prospects worth their transportation cost and you have someone you want to fill in next season anyway...(Votto)

^Honestly, I don't know why I'm suprised....Nothing this ownership group does, or doesn't do, suprises me....

As I said about a week ago on here, Wayne Krivsky will NOT be back next season.

Even if you pick up a Single "A" prospect or two, what is the harm in letting Votto / Cantu get some time the rest of the year? I'd have traded them for a solid low level prospect OBO.

The same harm it was to let Homer Bailey come up when he wasn't ready...

They need to start next season with one of them on the roster with Votto, if that's the direction they're headed...

Next year they will have Cantu and Votto at first, neither Hatteberg or Conine will be here IMO.
