The last Braves' starter to be pulled, without an injury, before recording an out was Len Barker in 1985...also against those mashing Redlegs.

When he pitches he gives up a lot of baserunners and doesn't strike a lot of people out. He's a few "bad breaks" away from getting shelled for a few starts. I agree that he needs to get the ball at least a few more times, but he's very hittable.

I agree, there is a reason why he has bounced back and forth from the minors and majors. At this point any Reds pitcher that can get a win is a great, great thing. :lol:

July 17, 200719 yr Jo-Jo Reyes pinch hit in the 2nd inning last night and got a hit. It was his first career hit also. So maybe tonight will be the Braves night for good pitching and good hitting by the pitcher.
