Thats what I have been wondering. I wouldn't be suprised to see him shut down for a while.

Looking at the box score from his AAA start on the 12th. He had 4 strikeouts in 3 and 1/3 with 5 walks.

Hard to judge such a short outing, but with the Reds not going ANYWHERE this year, there is no reason to risk anything with him

Course he could be as healthy as he is going to get, even if the velocity doesn't show it, who knows.

Wow. How depressing is that? This certainly is the season of dispair for Cincinnati:cry:

I've been waiting for Jr to do that all year 1-0 Reds:banana:

I was wondering which version of this Atlanta pitcher that we would see. The one who couldn't get past the 3rd or the one who pitches into the 6th.

Good news for the Reds he isn't going to last long at this pace.

What did JR do?

He got a base hit to drive in Freel, BUT he drove the ball where the shortstop would have normally played. Because of the shift it went from a potential double play to RBI single. Nice piece of hitting by JR.

That's Reds baseball at it's finest. Just unbelievable.

Give Jones credit for a great catch, but how in the hey can you not score at least ONE MORE run with bases loaded no outs.

When you see a balk called that early, I can't help but wonder if the home plate umpire was told by someone before the game about a tendency that Livingston might have.

This Livingston guys likes to live dangerously on the base paths.

Horrible pitching by the Braves and good baserunning by the Reds. The only thing that keeps me optimistic is that the Braves are hitting Livingston well so far, just no runs to show for it.
