David Ross has been put on the disabled list with a concussion as a result of his collision with Mike Cameron on Sunday. Ryan Jorgensen is expected to be called up.

Of course as soon as they get rid of Moeller, Ross gets hurt...

That is so funny, I said the exact same thing yesterday. Classic Reds' luck. :D

Alex Gonzalez stays behind to care for his son. Horrible situation.

Keppy to play SS in his absence. Nice stick (especially right now), but no range and less of an arm. I cringe when you sacrifice defense up the middle. Don't get me wrong, I get the play 'em while they're hot mentality and he is red-hot.

This may have been asked or answered on here but does anyone know what is wrong w/ Alex's son?

If I'm the club I'd tell him see you in Florida next spring.

I agree with the D up the middle philosophy, however Gonzo isn't the next coming of Dave Concepcion either. In this case the stick outweighs the glove. IMO

Griffey forgot how to run the bases apparently.

Would the 2008 Redlegs be a better team overall by putting BP at F6 and moving Kepp into F4?

I've only seen the last 3 outs but he looks more than servicable at SS.

Two batters later he gets his glove on a ball up the middle but can't stop the run from scoring.

Phillips isn't allowed playing anywhere but 2nd. I have no idea why, but last year people said it had something to do w/ he couldn't handle it mentally. ;)

Hope everything is okay with Gonzo's son. Glad to see he's doing the right thing and putting baseball on the backburner.
