August 12, 200719 yr Reds win 8-3. Excellent outing by Livingston. He goes 8 1/3 giving up 3 runs. Bill Bray comes in to get the final two outs. Keppinger with 2 more hits, and 3 RBI today. The guy can flat out hit. The Reds have their work cut out for them tomorrow as the Padres send their ace Jake Peavy to the mound. Arroyo will take the hill for the Redlegs.
August 12, 200719 yr Yep, I waited until the Reds had a VERY large lead and were through the 8th before I said anything about Livingston having a great day. I still think he should have been left in after giving up the 2 run homer to complete the game. BUT still a great, great performance and Keppinger continues his assault to a 400 average. :lol:
August 12, 200719 yr The Cincinnati Reds reinstated outfielder Josh Hamilton from the 15-day disabled list Sunday and designated infielder Mark Bellhorn for assignment. Hamilton has been on the DL since July 12 with a sprained right wrist. He hit .375 (6-for-16) in five rehab games with Triple-A Louisville. Bellhorn made five pinch-hit appearances and one at third base as a defensive replacement since joining the Reds on July 31.
