Trinity's Jordan Whiting....

Featured Replies

I have heard his name alot as a "player to watch". Did he play CSAA and if so, for which parish?

I think he attended Victor Anderson's grade school, but I could be wrong.

And that school was?

^Not sure on parish or CSAA, but he did start out at Manual is freshman year. I think Nichols didn't like him.....:sssh:

He did start out at Manual, Nichols liked the kid fine. We played Trinity in a Freshmen or JV game and next thing you Whiting is wearing green and we got one of their soph LB's Beau Eggers. I didn't think there were trades in high school football but it seems to have worked out well for each kid.

Here is a picture of Jordan. I do know all the T coaches were high on Jordan last year and he was a stud for a sophomore. I have been waiting to see Jordan this year because I believe he will be an absolute stud.

I honestly think that he'll be the best we've had since Shawn and Reggie.

Don't know. I'll try to check a program from last year to find out. I think X publishes grade schools as well in their's.

Were there any players to be named later in the trade clause? J/K. Good luck this year.

WHiting played football in the optimist league for Fern Creek on the same team with Jacob Jenkins and both went to Manual in the same class, (he also wrestled for FC Optimist 134lb class just 3yrs ago!)

I guess Jenkins gave up football in high school to concentrate on basketball, haven't seen his name anywhere but as an 8th grade kid Jenkins was a man among men on the football field. Jordan, has come a long long long way already, and is better every time I see him play. I credit that to the coaching at Trinity because he had the building blocks but didn't know how to put them together on his own.

Victor listed from St.Agnes

Thanks, TonyDanza. CentreRocks, you stated that "I think he attended Victor Anderson's grade school". Therefore, are you claiming that he is a St Agnes alum?

Victor did not attend St. Agnes grade school, although perhaps he joined the parish while he was in high school--- I do not have information or knowledge about that.

What does it really matter anyway? Its clear that this young man will be a dominate force and be recognized for his accomplishments. All State and All American are not out of the question.

This is a good ending point.
