Trinity's Jordan Whiting....

Featured Replies

How good is this rising junior?

I heard he was an absolute stud at the UK football camp this week.

I know he looked the part on ICN6 vs Ryle.

Only time will tell. Looks can be deceiving, but he does have a frame that would scare most running backs. He is still young and has a lottttt to learn.

He runs down hill with the best but his lateral movement needs work, almost too big for LB. He has the biggest arms for a junior I have seen.

Too big for LB are you kidding me. 6'0 225 is not that large. Chuck Smith at UofK has him as the number one LB on his list. The kid has two years of High School to go he will be just fine.

If I'm not mistaken, for Trinity he wrestles, weightlifts and runs track very well. That would be an impressive off-season regimen. Paired with Wes Weitlauf, he could be part of a formidable LB duo if they play hard and smart and are good leaders.

Here is a picture of Jordan. I do know all the T coaches were high on Jordan last year and he was a stud for a sophomore. I have been waiting to see Jordan this year because I believe he will be an absolute stud.

Real deal... I said all year he was the one guy I would not want to be hit by. He is a super nice kid too.... unless you are running the ball at him. I agree with tcjkbt, with Wes there is not a better lb duo in the state.

Has Wes fully recovered from his injuries? Thanks.

Stay positive!!! It is amazing what a kid can accomplish with encouragement.

Best of luck to you Jordan!!

See your PM. I am positive, just stating facts. Most JR's still have a learning curve in T's defensive schemes.

I have heard his name alot as a "player to watch". Did he play CSAA and if so, for which parish?

^Not sure on parish or CSAA, but he did start out at Manual is freshman year. I think Nichols didn't like him.....:sssh:

"Absolute, slap-together stud" was what was used to describe his play at the UK camp.
