At least one interview was done today of a current head coach in the state. A second one either has not made it here yet or has backed out of consideration. I hear there is an assistant at another school that may get an interview as well.

Hey Average Joe, I saw it was suggested that you take the job. Too bad you make too much money.

The assistant coach has been interviewed, not sure on any more.

No it was an external candidate.

Any word on where this candidate is from?

Has Jackie Jewell of Corbin been mentioned? It would definitely bring back the Corbin/Somerset rivalry. Jewell vs. Jewell.

No, I don't think he is a candidate for the job. Not heard Jackie's name for a while, I had him in PE back in Elem. school.

I saw Coach Cobb looking over his future Henderson Co. players at WKU's passing tounament today. I had heard the Jumpers were going to be there, but didn't see them.

I just found out that Somerset has cancelled most if not all of the summer passing leagues. That cannot be a good sign for Coach Lucas. I would hope that Coach Lucas would at least get some real consideration from the administration.
