Congrats to kids on both teams. Well played game and it looked like all the kids played hard. Nice way for these boys to cap off their high school careers. East team really missed the running of Jordan Kramer. With him out, Spritzky went with the pass at least 80% of the O plays. Made for a long, long game. But it cooled down pretty well (nice breeze) and it was pretty comfortable. Saw the Ru working the sidelines, but didn't have a chance to chat. But he looked in mid-season form with his camera! The receiver from Campbell Co (Griffin) has some very good hands, as does the Johnson kid from Lloyd. Thanks to Coaches Spritzky, Trosper and staff, as well as the organizers and sponsors for putting on the event again this year. Job well done.

Oh. I saw that he had CCH and Highlands on his helmet. I didnt know who it was. Where is he going too college at?

Signed on the first day of the signing period with Kentucky State

The kicker, #11, for the East squad did a nice job sending the ball well into the endzone on kickoffs. Seemed like an effortless kick for the lad. Who was the kicker for the East and where is he headed for college?

They ran out of programs by mid 1st Qtr. The kids exchanged school decals - it was a challenge to figure out who was underneath the helmet and which highschool was being represented... :creepy:

You have to give it up for the new facility at Dixie. The turf is very nice to play on. No doubt, one of the best facilities around.

East defense controlled the tempo and field condition for the entire game. Koester, Flynn and #44 from Holmes really stood out on the East defense.

The West offense just could not get the sustained drive without a fumble or INT. The West defense got burnt on the long ball, did well against the run.

Enjoyed the developing friendships on the sidelines as much as the action on the gridiron. Great evening for $5.

#44 is Justin Young. He's heading to Morehead State.

As for the game, no surprise here. The East makes it back to back years of dominating this all star game.

Great pics. Can't wait for August

Here is a shot from the game:

Deja vu for the Boone defender.

Oh. I saw that he had CCH on his helmet.

I saw quite a few kids with CCH on their helmet. Anyone know what was up with that?

Did he have an older brother that played at a D3 school in Ohio?

Will the Griffin kid be playing in college?

That is part of the tradition of all star games as it helps the kids develop friendships by exchanging the Decals. The numbers on the jerseys and a program in hand should have been enough to tell who was who, I dont know.

Congrats to all of the kids participating in the game from what I read East dominated after the West scored first. Hesch must have had a very nice ballgame, does anyone what college he may be going to? I cant imagine as a footballer but was a very nice baseball player I hear.

No that was Antwan Curry, who played at Muskingum(sp.) College, they are not related. Covington was voted Holmes MVP the past two years, and could be a stud at the DII level.

Congratulations to NCC's Phillip "Whitey" Horan. Your Pappy would be VERY PROUD of your accomplishments, as he was of ALL his kids. And congrats to all the others on an OUTSTANDING HS career!!

Will the Griffin kid be playing in college?

Last I heard he is going to Mt. Saint Joe. Sounds like everyone there got to see a little of what we got to watch all last season. Way to go Griff!!

Deja vu for the Boone defender.

Yeah, they may be tired of seeing the back of his jersey.:sssh: Anyone know what Brandon's stats were?
