I certainly disagree with you on South Park. Just because a show is a cartoon doesn't mean it isn't a show. I think you need to add the proviso "Best Live Action Television show" if you wish to discount those shows.

 

South Park in particular actually has a degree of social commentary that no other show on TV is willing to take on. I respect them greatly for that.

Of those listed above, I only watch CSI (LV) and Shark. Overall favorite this year is probably a tossup between CSI and Rules of Engagement.

Friday Night Lights out of newer shows. That 70s Show overall...

My four faves are The Office, Lost, Heroes and Deadliest Catch.

Scrubs, the only show on television right now that can make me laugh out loud.

I like the ol' stuff on TvLand and Nick at Night. Any program I like today would be My Wife and Kids on FOX56. Are You Smarter Then a 5th Grader is entertaining. Deal or No Deal is pretty good(I've picked the right briefcase for the $10,000 a few times, but you also have to be randomly picked so far I haven't been).
