Like him or not, he's in a grove right now and I can't see the record lasting past May. Last night he hit number 742 of his career and is just 13 shy of Hank Aaron.

It will take him until mid June to break it. He won't hit 14 homeruns in May. But maybe I could be wrong.

When/If it gets down to tying/breaking the record, what are the pitchers going to do? They are not going to want to be the guy that let him break the record.

Barry Bonds is/was a great player and definitely belongs in the Hall of Fame based on his legit accomplishments, but this is not one of those. I never thought he'd have the stones to pass Hank since Hank was alive. It was one thing with Babe because he didn't have to look him in the eye, but jeez, I can't believe he's going to do this.
