This is one of the funniest sports moments Ive seen in a long time! A guy accidentally interferes with a foul ball and gets showered with beer. Then some moron throws a pizza at him! :lol:

I saw that on Baseball Tonight on Monday night, I think. What a weirdo! Why would you throw a $3 pizza slice on somebody? On BT, Kruk was not happy that somebody wasted a good piece of pizza!:lol:

In Boston it that was probably a $8 piece. $8 to go your 15 minutes of fame. Well worth it. :lol: It was stupid but still funny.

I don't understand what the fan who threw the pizza was mad at. The Red Sox were batting, so the fan actually helped out the home team by trying to catch the foul ball.

I don't know that I would necessarily call them "morons" — my visit to New England revealed extremely knowledgable fans in the most odd places — but their neurotic passion for their team sure reminds me a lot of another fan base a little closer to home. I guess he was worried about another Bartman incident.
