LEXINGTON, Ky. – The University of Kentucky women's basketball team, also known as "UK Hoops," will hold a press conference Wednesday, April 11 at 9:30 a.m. ET in the Memorial Coliseum press conference room to discuss a major women’s basketball announcement.

 

Any idea of what this could be?

Yea, odd and abrupt....I'm not a huge follower but I know they didn't have as good a season as the year before... Just have to wait and see I guess. LSU may have something to do with it. At least you hope it aint health related.

If she takes the job at LSU I will be wishing her the best of luck. There's not many better programs she could go to than LSU, and she would be leaving LSU in a better position than she inherited it.

 

I would hope that others have the same opinion of the matter, as the UK Men's Basketball Program did a frighteningly similar thing by hiring Billy Gillispie from the program he put on the map.

Can't fault a person to try to do better for themselves usually, and right now LSU is definitely above UK if that is the reason for her resigning...

Demoss is originally from Louisiana, and played at Louisiana Tech.

 

My money says she is headed home unless Mitch opens the pocketbook.
