I agree, on all accounts but what needs to be done, to get the Reds on track. It has to start with pitching and is it, the Pitching Coach or the GM who brought these guys over. Is it the Offense or the players in the lineup, just not preparing properly. Is it the talent, as in lack of....If so, then blame that on Krivsky and Narron, has to get these current Reds, to respond. As a fan, ask yourself this question....Which is worse, the Offense or the Pitching and then, go from there. If the Pitching is the main problem, than which ones, how did they get here and better yet, how to fix. If the Offense is the problem, which ones and whom do you trade and more importantly, whom do you acquire or bring up. Finally, Narron hasn't forgotten to coach but perhaps these players, have forgotten how to respond and since they all can't be let go, then the logical answer is "changes have to be made", but where to begin.

For those of you who don't know, the Reds got Ramon Ortiz for Moseley, and Cormier for Germano. Of course if they pitched for the Reds I'm sure the stats would look a whole lot different. I do not necassarily approve of a Lot of Narron's in game moves/decisions but the entire blame cannot be placed on him. I think that it is time for him to go bc obviously this team is not responding to his leadership (or lack there of). Players have to take some pride in themselves and the team, this team sure is not playing like they have any pride at all. I realize that teams go through "slumps" or "bad stretches" but this is way more than that. The Reds are not a very good baseball team at all and do not have very good leadership (in the dugout and clubhouse). All of that together adds up to a bad baseball team.

I would not call it "change for the sake of change." As an organization, you have to survive both the short term and the long term. Right now at Memorial Day, even the most loyal fans (and one lives with me) is saying "enough." Thus, there has to be some sort of change. Change in personnel is the way they should go before change in managers. I'm no Baseball Guy fan but it would be unfair to him and and waste of energy to remove him now. On the other hand, eating the contracts and getting rid of old dead weight is a MUST in order to show the fans (and it still is a business,right?) that there is reason to come to the ballpark THIS YEAR. If Wayne continues the "be patient" line, he'll be able to tell it nightly to each fan individually at the ballpark because it won't take long.
